need new tabs too!
The weathers getting warmer and boating season is
just around the corner, so that must mean its time
to renew your tabs.
The state Department of Licensing is mailing out renewal
notices this month to remind the 259,000 boat owners in
Washington their tabs will expire on June 30.
This year, the department will not be providing return
envelopes with the notices. The DOL stopped sending out
envelopes because only 23 percent of vessel owners used
the envelopes to renew.
Boating season will begin on May 6 this year.
Vessel tabs can be renewed in person at the Cost Cutter
on H Street from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday
and Saturday from10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
