Blaine football to play undefeated Liberty team

By Oliver Lazenby

After an uncertain week of waiting on results from other league games, the Borderites’ first football playoff game is finally scheduled.

They’ll play Liberty at 7 p.m. Friday, November 4 at Liberty High School, at 16655 SE 136th Street, in Renton.

Blaine (6–3) is the lowest seed in the district playoffs, which matches up Northwest Conference schools with schools in leagues to the south. Its opponent is undefeated in regular season games and is the highest seed in the district playoffs.

The winner advances to the 2A state playoffs at the Tacoma Dome, which start on Friday, November 11.
