Stan was born in Bellingham and graduated from Blaine High School in 1961. He passed away suddenly on Sunday. Stan served in the Navy as a radar specialist on the Ticonderoga aircraft carrier in the ‘60s. He had many interests including gardening, stamp collecting and playing music on his grand piano. He recently retired from Bay Automotive Repair in Birch Bay.
Stan is survived by his loving wife Gail; brother James (Carolyn) Calhoon; daughters Jennifer (Gary) Van de Wouwer and Elizabeth (Kyle) Calhoon-Brumbaugh; stepsons Tony (Jennifer) and Scott (Kara) MacDonald; nieces Connie Taylor and Christine (Michael) Anderson and grandchildren.
