Rescue Me Mondays: Once a week, we will feature a dog up for adoption at a local animal shelter. This week, meet Clyde, who is available for adoption at Whatcom Humane Society.
“Clyde is a rambunctious boy who’s always ready to go on adventures. This high energy boy would make a great running/hiking partner to an outdoor loving enthusiast. He is a highly intelligent boy who already knows several commands and will learn so much more when he attends a positive based obedience class, it is mandatory that he’d be signed up before his adoption can be finalized. Clyde has too high of a prey drive to share a home with cats. He has never lived with kids and may be able to handle respectful children who are 10 and up. He is a strong boy who still needs to learn not to be too jumpy, which is not safe to be around small kids at this point. He needs to be better socialized with people he doesn’t know, at times he can be a bit of a wuss. Clyde is a ladies man and is more comfortable with women, he likes men who are gentle with him and respect his space. Obedience classes, proper socialization with people and other dogs will help Clyde build his confidence. He loves to play fetch, go on runs or long walks. If you would like to meet this handsome boy, please fill out an adoption application at the front desk!”
