Rescue Me Mondays: Once a week, we will feature a dog up for adoption at a local animal shelter. This week, we’re featuring Lilah, who is available for adoption at Whatcom Humane Society.
“Lilah is a shy young lady who needs a loving new home. Lilah is very shy and takes a lot of time to warm up to her new people and environment. She will be required to be signed up for positive, reward based obedience classes before her adoption can be finalized. She had a seizure when she arrived here, and we believe that her seizures are brought on by stress. She may very well have another seizure in her life and this is very treatable, but her adoption will include a medical waiver, which just means we have informed you of the seizure history. Lilah is very uncomfortable here so she is not letting her true self shine. She loves to play ball outside in the yard and she seems to come out of her shell a bit when she is outside. She is good with other dogs and may do very well with a goofy male who will help teach her that the big bad world is not so bad. If you think that you have room in your heart and home for a fabulous girl like Lilah, just ask the front for an application.”
More about Lilah: House trained • Spayed/Neutered • Current on vaccinations • Primary Color(s): Black • Secondary Color(s): Yellow, Tan, Blond or Fawn
