The Northern Light made quite a showing at the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association (WNPA) awards this year. The Northern Light and sister publications went home with a total of 21 awards in 2015, a personal best for our company. The Northern Light, Mount Baker Experience, Pacific Coast Weddings and Waterside were all recognized, with Waterside being named the best travel guide in the state for 2015. The Northern Light is independently published by Point Roberts Press, Inc.

“I am really pleased that our staff received recognition for a full range of expertise in ad and publication design, editorial writing and photography to web design,” said publisher Patrick Grubb. “We have a great team here who work hard for our readers and customers and are constantly upgrading their skills to meet the evolving challenges of technology and the marketplace.”
