Performers needed for middle school talent show

The Blaine Middle School cafeteria will become the place to highlight your talent when the Pizza and Pizzazz Talent Show opens on Saturday, March 7.

Andy Harmening, choral director for the Blaine school district, has been organizing the talent show for the last six years. The show is a way to not only single out talented students, but also to give members of the community a chance to shine.

Auditions for the talent show will be held Wednesday–Friday, February 25–27, starting at 3 p.m. in the middle school classroom 213.

As an added treat, a crew will be preparing all-you-can-eat pizza for the event. The meal will also include drinks, salads and an apple pizza for dessert.

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students. Children 5 and under attend for free. Proceeds from the event will fund the Blaine Chamber Choir’s trip to New York City on April 29.

Audition forms are available in the Blaine school offices.
